The term National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) means the qualification has been approved by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority. NVQ's in Children's Care are based on standards set by the Child Care Sector.

Pathways

The Children's Care Learning and Development is relevant to Nurseries, pre Schools, Schools, nannies, childminder's and people working with children up to the age of 16 years.

The Children and Young People pathway is especially relevant to residential child care workers and foster carers as well as workers in health and youth justice settings.

We currently have funding available to those who have less than five GCSE's (Grade A - C) and are able to offer the NVQ free of charge if you qualify.
